Abraham Lincoln's Concerns On The Union/Slavery

Abraham Lincoln's concern was more focused on preserving the Union, rather than slavery.  if Abraham Lincoln governed something that's higher than the lower then he can always go back and govern what's there, always go back to the least subject. He thought it would better to tackle the most hard problem , then find his way to the least problem. This is what Abraham Lincoln thought would help the society. To help the society as a whole and the problem the society was dealing with political wise.
